Thank you for choosing Mermaid Riot, my name is Melissa Byers. I’ve been behind the chair now for 12 years and I’ve owned Mermaid Riot for 10yrs. I specialize in all things color, cutting, & GelX nails! I am happily married to my husband of 20yrs and we have two amazing (grown) children, we also have a husky named Blizzard. I am an MS warrior so my studio is Home based but very private, this is to help ensure you will ALWAYS get the very best of me. I stride to give you a luxurious experience from start to finish. I will return a text with a wait time or I’m ready for you. Please stay cozy in your car until you hear from me. • My studio is vape, alcohol, and 420 friendly, so if you’d like to vape or have an alcoholic beverage feel free to come prepared. All 420 friendly clients will receive a complimentary smoke sesh while processing if you’d like to partake. • ALL clients must keep a valid card on file. You do not have to cash out with said card. It is simply used to secure your place on the books as well as a security for my business if any fees have to be charged from my policies listed below. ALL appointments are booked through the website. Deposit is due at time of booking. All services require at least a $5 deposit to ensure the card on file is valid, & to secure your spot. Deposits can not be refunded, if you don’t show up for your appointment or cancel you will lose your deposit. Feel free to text me with questions on which services to choose if you are unsure. •50% fee of services booked will be charged for cancellations outside of the 72hr Grace period. If the card on file is declined you will be banned from all future bookings. No Shows (20+ mins late or never show) or same day cancellation will result in 100% fee and you will be banned from future bookings. • No Refunds or exchanges all sales are final. • I DO NOT work over at home color this does include color from Sally Beauty & Amazon. • I do not work with acrylic. I specialize in GelX, and Gel manicures. Focusing on cuticle care and natural nail health. I use DND, and Apreś products. Please text me a picture of what design you’d like. Design options are listed in the details of this add on service when booking. Want a specific color shoot me a text and I’ll make sure I have it for you. All nail clients receive a complimentary cuticle oil for cuticle care at home. When your oil is empty please bring back for a refill. Cuticle oil should be applied to all skin around the nail multiple times a day to help ensure healthy cuticles. Please be mindful of staying still when your hand is in the light curing this will help ensure a proper cure. GelX sets lasts 3-4wks. I do require a fresh set each time to ensure strength & durability. A soak off is included in price. • No additional guests or children in the studio unless they are being serviced. • Silent appointments available upon request. • Cash & Zelle are preferred methods of payment. We also accept Venmo, Cashapp, Apple Pay, and card, however there is a high fee for all card transactions, this is out of my control. Afterpay, Klarna, and Affirm are also available as well. • ALL appointments must be confirmed within 24hrs of your appointment, if not it will be canceled and marked as a no show.
