• Thank you for choosing Mermaid Riot, my name is Melissa Byers. I’ve been behind the chair now for over 10yrs. I’ve owned Mermaid Riot for almost 9yrs. I specialize in all things color, cutting, & GelX nails! I am happily married to my husband of 20yrs and we have two amazing (grown 😭) children. We have two loving dogs a husky named Blizzard and a Pitt bull named Raven, so technically I have 4 children 🤣. I offer a luxurious experience in my private studio & would love to pamper you and give you a new look, or help upkeep your current look. Hope to meet you soon! •50% fee of services booked will be charged for cancellations outside of the 72hr Grace period. If the card on file is declined you will be banned from all future bookings. No Shows (15+ mins late or never show) or same day cancellation will result in 100% fee and you will be banned from future bookings. • No Refunds or exchanges all sales are final. • All color services require a deposit. Deposits are non refundable. The full amount of deposit paid is deducted from your service total. The reason we do this is to guarantee your spot and also due to the high increases in no shows & same day cancellations. To avoid the deposit you can pre book your future appointments with me. • I DO NOT work over at home color (box color) this does include color from Sally Beauty & Amazon. • All NEW clients needing a lightening service MUST come in for a strand test before you schedule an appointment. Strand tests can be scheduled online. • No additional guests or children in the studio unless they are being serviced. • Silent appointments available upon request. • Cash & Zelle are preferred methods of payment. We also accept card, Venmo, and Cashapp. • ALL appointments are booked through the website.
